We established a joint venture with Apollo Multi Asset Management in 2019 but took the decision to pause actively promoting this to clients until after the pandemic, when there was more global stability. This has given us time to develop the decision-making process in our joint venture, as well as to establish a track record for the performance of the portfolios.
The portfolios have a blended approach. As well as exposure to specific ESG strategies, they are positioned in such a way as to be exposed to more traditional investments which can provide additional sectoral diversity and provide a hedge against volatility. Over time the portfolios will become more and more aligned with a pure ESG framework as the markets, and market leaders, develop and evolve to global changes.
You may decide to go ‘all in’ and make this your only investment portfolio, or you may want to dip your toe in sustainable investments without totally changing your portfolio. The choice is yours and we can discuss your options, together with which of the portfolios is most closely aligned to your long-term investment goals and risk tolerance.
